What are 'Mods,' 'Menu Skins,' and 'Skins?'

When we say 'mods,' we are referring to modifications that make the game look better/more like an official Project Diva game during gameplay (when you're playing a song), or mods that change your rhythm gaming experience in general.

When we say 'menu skins,' we are referring to modifications that make the game's menus look different (so, anything before/after playing a song.)

We recommend you get both mods and a menu skin before starting to play PPD!

NOTE REGARDING MENU SKINS:

You can only have one menu skin at a time, so choose wisely!

You can have as many mods as you want, but they won't all work together at the same time. (The REAL PDA-FT Skin X 4.0 mod is an example of one of these - it looks gorgeous, but can only be enabled on its own and with/without CSInput).

When we say 'skins,' we are referring to a custom border while playing a chart. For example:

Skins are .mod files, so they are also placed in the 'mods' folder in your 'PPD' folder and activated the same way mods are activated (open menu with square->mods->checkmark).
